Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira, the Bishop of the Diocese of Kasese, has confirmed over 800 Christians into the Catholic Church and opened a Eucharistic Center at Rwanguhya Roman Catholic Church in Nsenyi Parish, with a call on Christians for maintaining their communication with God through prayer.
In the Same Mass, Bishop Kibira Commissioned Three Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, Catechists; Alfred Muhindo Mbakania, John Mumbere Byamukama and Uzziah Bwambale.


In his Homily while presiding over Holy Mass at Rwanguhya Playground yesterday, Bishop Kibira encourage parents to pray for their families, as well as teaching norms and values of the Catholic Church to their children. Bishop Francis speaking1…….
Bishop also called for collaborated efforts against teenage pregnancies and early marriages among the young people whom he asked to desist from night clubs and concerts that do not only expose them to the risks of diseases but moral decadency as well. Bishop speaking2……..
He also urged Church committees to engage in food and cash crop farming alongside for food security and increased household incomes. At the Beginning of his Homily, the Bishop officially introduced Fr. Andrew Kato Katuramu as the new Nsenyi parish priest after Rev. Fr. Sunday Godfrey was sent to Ireland for studies together with Fr. Joseph Tumusiime, the former Parish Priest for Kyakahya and Fr. Edward Muhindo, a teacher at St. John’s Minor Seminary-Kiburara. END
