The Sate Minister for National Guidance, Hon. Godfrey Kabyanga has called for profitable use of Internet as government continues to build internet hubs in Uganda.
At the launch and celebration of the success of internet since the installation of the internet hubs in Kasese by the National Information Technology Authority at Rwenzori International Hotel in Kasese Municipality yesterday, Hon. Kabyanga said internet should be used for business research now that Kasese has no library, and not for social media political propaganda.
The National Information and Technology Authority – Uganda is a government parastatal under the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance in Uganda, mandated to coordinate, promote and monitor Information and Technology developments in Uganda and thus offering free internet services to the people.
