Police in Kasese has detained the suspected ritualists who reportedly returned to suspiciously raise the Rwenzururu Kingdom Flag and perform rituals at the Kingdom headquarters based in Kasese Municipality.

The Rwenzururu Kingdom Premier, Rt. Hon. Joseph Kule Muaranga down played the alleged mission by those calling themselves Kings of Kings, calling for an investigation since the constitutionally recognized Kings of the Batooro, Bayira and Bamba, were well identified.

The Kasese Deputy RDC, Mr. Joshua Masereka described their return to the Kingdom headquarters as touching a leopard`s tail with an intention to recall confusion among the Rwenzururu subjects who are currently focusing at peace and means for total freedom of their King.

In an telephone interview last evening, Mr. Joshua said the investigations by police would guide his office on how to consult about their role in the Kingdom administration. Mr. Joshua speaking……..

To the Former Rwenzururu Kingdom Premier, Rt. Hon. Gad Mbayahi, the act by the six suspected ritualists is a mere provocation to the Rwenzururu subjects before calling for calm as police handles investigations into their intentions. Hon. Gad speaking……

The FDC chairperson for Central Division who doubles as the local council one chairperson for Base camp Lower cell in Kasese Municipality said the move by the alleged six people suspects of rituals cannot be taken lightly because such could be well calculated efforts for conflicts that would prolong the detention of the King, His Majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma. Mr. Kigutiha speaking……..

He however calls for calm but also expedited investigations into the matter by police. END.
