    Suspected Rebel arrested by local residents in Kasese district

    A suspected Allied Democratic Forces Rebel suspect has been arrested by the local residents of Katholhu trading Centre in Nyakiyumbu Sub County in Kasese district.

    No details have been divulged by the security but the local council three Chairperson for Nyakiyumbu sub county Mr. Sunday Peter Kakule confirmed the commendable action by the local residents and leadership that arrested the suspect and later called in the line security leadership.

    Mr. Peter Kakule later called for registration of visitors, as well as vigilance against suspicious people supporting the security unrest in the neighboring DR Congo. Mr. Peter Kakule speaking……..

    A local resident Kasese guide radio will not identify for security reasons said the arrest followed their suspicious about the suspect`s dressing code and later the quality of his Kiswahili language before tactfully calling in security intervention. Mr. Edson speaking…….

    Just last month, the state Minister for ICT and National guidance, Hon. Kabyanga Godfrey asked the local community along the Uganda-DR Congo to be vigilant against suspected rebels and their supporters. END.
