The pastoral coordinator of the diocese of Kasese, Rev. Fr. Modesto Kasenyangwe has urged the lay faithful to support their catechists both physically and financially during this 2nd wave of covid-19 that has also forced the closure of churches.
Speaking to our reporter in an interview in Kasese town, Fr. Kasenyangwe said before the lockdown church had a way to facilitating catechists the system which he said should continue, asking the laity to work with small Christian communities and modify the best way of collecting money that will intend to support the wellbeing of Catechists during this lockdown.
