Ms. Gloria Muthaka, a teenage mother in Bwesumbu Sub-County in Kasese district, has blamed the increasing school dropout rates among female learners on sugar daddy syndrome.
She said many girls have dropped out of school because sugar daddies have conned them with gifts like phones, money and clothing’s with intention of diverting them from their education career.
Ms.Gloria like others who completed senior four at Kithoma Peas High school in Buhuhira sub-county last year said they were deceived by small gifts reportedly offered to them by their boyfriends and sugar daddies promising heaven and earth but the reverse was true.

They urged girls never to be tempted into early marriages and teenage pregnancies but to focus on education for future generation.
