A section of senior four students for 2023 at Asamu Model secondary School in Kasese Municipality today stormed the office of the head teacher demanding explanation about their delayed UCE results by UNEB.
Mr. Musimenta Abdulmalik one of the students told Kasese Guide Radio the decision to storm the head teachers’ office with their parents was to express dissatisfaction about false promises by the head teacher to have results picked from Kampala but in vain. Mr. Musementa speaking…
Musimenta, asked the District Education Officer and the RDC Kasese to intervene into the matter.
Ms. Mariam Praise, the school bursar, attributed the delay by failure to pay surcharge registration fee to UNEB, caused by parents who never completed registration fee in time.
She however assured the students that one of the administrators had set off to Kampala to pick results of thirty students that sat UCE examination 2023 at Asamu Model. Ms. Mariam speaking…
She called for calm among the students saying by this week, results will be available. END.
