At least sixty youths from various institutions in Kasese Municipality have today graduated with certificates in computer training.
The two weeks training was organized by Maendeleo foundation in partnership with Team Umoja youth association and MTN Uganda.
The Kasese Municipal Education officer, Mr. Emmy Kayiri who presided over the function held in Kizungu cell in Kasese Municipality, said the aim of the training was to empower youths acquire knowledge in information technology, thereby enhancing their capacity in digital transformation.
They were trained in skills such as, introduction to computer, internet communication, data base management system and net-working among others.
