Opposition Forum for Democratic Forces in Kasese district is in shock after losing Mr. Deo Sereka Suda, a former party diehard mobilizer, to the ruling National Resistance Movement party.
Many local leaders and FDC members in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council blame the loss to the current party bickering that leave the party at the verge of being neutralized by the ruling party.
Mr. Nicodemus Baluku Katika, a famous business man across Mpondwe-DR Congo border in Kasese district described the decision by Mr. Suda as brave, wondering why traders should oppose than working with a government regime that has made them what they are.
Mr. Katika who welcomed Mr. Suda to the yellow party, said they will continue mobilizing for President Museveni before asking the new big covert to join the party’s political mobilization strategies for the good of Uganda. Papa Katika speaking……
To Mr. Suda who pledged total support to his new party he asked his former opposition members for support, said he couldn’t keep in FDC after all his friends he did not identify joined the ruling National Resistance Movement party. Mr. Suda speaking……
Many NRM party members interviewed commended Mr. Suda for his decision, asking him to mobilize for more who are still opposed to a strong political regime in Uganda. NRM Supporters………
