Street Children in Kasese town have asked the District COVID-19 task force and welwishers to provide relief items to them during this lockdown.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio yesterday, Mr. Francis Tumwesige a street child from Rwimi town Council in Bunyangabo District, who reportedly joined the street after mistreatment from his parents said life has worsened following the outbreak of Corona Virus pandemic.

Another street child Mr.Abel Kato 14 year a resident of Kisolholho village in Karambi Sub County, who reportedly joined the street after his father, was imprisoned on allegations of killing his brother.
Mr. Francis said the incident led to divorce of his mother who then sought refuge in DRC, leaving them helpless.

Mr. Abel and Francis, asked family members to come for their rescue, saying life on street is so risky and tiresome.
Earlier, the Chairperson LC 3 Nyamwamba Division in Kasese Municipality, Mr. Saidi Kisuki, used the same platform condemning bad acts of street children before pledging to forward their request to the district Covid-19 taskforce.
