Parents have been warned to stop blaming the Government for the poor performance of their children.
Mr. Julius Banzwekera Baluku, the Head teacher for Kihara Primary school in Kasese Municipality said yesterday during the school Management committee meeting that parents were neglecting their responsibilities.
He said some parents do not monitor their children class progress or provide school necessities.
Julius emphasized that if parents played their roles in educating the children, it would ease the work of the teachers and lead to better performance. Mr. Julius speaking…..
He called for an audit in school enrollment after learners had reduced from 430 to 350 this year. Mr. Emanuel Thembo, the chairperson management committee for Kihara primary school appealed to Kasese district education department to construct permanent latrines at the school to accommodate the learners.
