Stanbic Bank has donated an assortment of medical equipment worth 44.8 million shillings to Rukoki General Hospital in Kasese District, aimed at improving maternal and child health care services.
The donation, which include 10 hospital beds, 2 sphygmomanometer machines, four oxygen concentrators, 10 Mattresses and 200 mama kits among other items, was handed over yesterday afternoon to the Hospital Administration under the campaign “With Love from Stanbic”. The funds used to procure the donated items are part of the 300 million shillings that Stanbic Bank allocated to support at least nine health facilities across the country.

Kasese District Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Paul Walakira, expressed his gratitude, noting that the support was timely. He said the facility receives between 400 and 468 mothers seeking delivery services every month.
Kasese District Health Officer, Dr. Amon Bwambale, appealed for continued support, citing the limited infrastructure at the hospital, which struggles to accommodate the growing number of patients.
