The Bishop for South Rwenzori Diocese, Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku, has asked the District security committee to intensify security at key installations during this Christmas festive.
He said that police should heighten security, with visible foot and motorized patrols in key areas that could be targeted by terrorists, following the recent ADF attacks in Kasese district.
In his speech shortly after presiding over Christmas carols at St.Pauls Cathedral in Kasese town this afternoon, Bishop Nason called for massive deployment and vigilance among Christians, saying terrorists may take the excitement of people during the festive season to execute their mission.
