Police Spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region SP. Nelson Tumushiime, has warned fishermen on lakes Edward and George to desist against fishing in breeding zones for crocodiles.
His warning follows increased attacks on fishermen by crocodiles on lakes Edward and George, which has claimed lives of innocent people.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio yesterday at Rwenzori East Region Police Headquarters, SP. Tumushiime, advised fishermen to value their lives than being anxious for Money. SP. Tumushiime speaking….
He also called for security cautiousness during the festive season.
Meanwhile, Local leaders and Residents of Ihango Village in Ihandiro Sub-County Kasese District,are calling for Police Investigations under which a 30 year-Old Man is suspected to have committed suicide by hanging himself inside his house over domestic brawl.
No official statement yet from Police but the youth leader for Ihango Village, Mr. Edson Katambara has identified the deceased as late Neckson Masereka Dogo. Mr. Katambara speaking….
