Burglary and defilement cases top police records, SP Luke Mbusa, the Acting police spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region has revealed.
Speaking to the media at his office in Kasese, SP Mbusa said theft, including house breakages and defilement could have been on the rise as a result of poverty and the deteriorating morals among the young people, fueled by parenting gaps.
