Bishop Elect for South Rwenzori Diocese Rev Can. Nason Baluku has thanked God for selecting him as the third Bishop of the Diocese with a pledge to work with all Christians and the clergy.
In an interview with the press at his home in Kogere cell, Nyamwamba division in Kasese Municipality, Rev Can, Nason Bwambale who described his election as a gift of his life said that he was hesitant first about the news until he received an official communication about the outcome of the elections.
Rev Can. Nason now Bishop elect said that being the third bishop of the diocese, he has the role among other things to continue uniting the clergy and the Christians for the good of the Church.

Earlier, the provincial Dean of the Church of Uganda who is also the outgoing Bishop south Rwenzori diocese, Rt. Rev Dr. Jackson Thembo Nzerebende had told this radio that the election of Canon Nason Baluku was done by the house of Bishops that sat to listen and scrutinize the life, experience, academic qualifications and testimonies of two of the applicants whose names was sent by the Diocesan nomination committee.
