    South Rwenzori Diocese celebrates her 39th anniversary

    South Rwenzori Diocese has today celebrated her 39th anniversary with a call on Christians to desist from domestic violence in their families.

    The call was made by the Retired Bishop of south Rwenzori diocese, Rtd. Bishop Zebedi Masereka while preaching at the celebration service at St.  Paul’s cathedral church in Kasese town.

    According to the servant of God, domestic violence hinders planning and development in families. He therefore implored Christians to always sit on round tables and plan accordingly for their families.

    The Ordinary of South Rwenzori diocese, Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku used the opportunity to reveal the diocesan 10- years strategic plan that is aiming at promoting spiritual development, eradicating poverty, environmental conservation among others. Rt. Rev. Nanson speaking….

    The chief guest Rev. David Kagwa who double as the manager World Vision urged believers to engage in social-economic activities he said will foster development and transform their communities.

    Mr. Amos Bwambale, the father’s union president south Rwenzori diocese urged the diocese to support awareness programs of ending domestic violence in communities. END
