Some School structures in Kasese district have turned into food stores and animal sheds now that schools continue closed over COVID-19 threats, a mini survey by Kasese guide radio has revealed.
Ms Beatrice Kabugho at Kyalyanga primary school in Kinyayovyo village in Karusandara Sub County said that some animal keepers and community members were not bothered about the future of the school whose toilets they use at will and turn classrooms into sheds for their animals. The Chairperson Local council One for Kinyayovyo village, Mr. Richard Masereka said his efforts to protect the school have been frustrated by cattle keepers, some of who are local leaders in the area.
