The Kasese Deputy RDC Kasese district, Mr. Joshua Masereka has described as better decision to get back home by some people in internally displaced camps but with relatively safer areas than in living camps.
Addressing hundred of internally displaced people`s camped at Kanyangeya primary school in Kasese Municipality yesterday, Mr. Joshua whop sympathized with the flood Victims especially in camps suggested that since the food support stores were emptying up, some able people in safer areas would instead leave the camps.

Ms Jane Matoya and Ms Esther Ithungu like others were not sure of where to reside after the camp but also worried if the relief food support would equally reach them in their respective individual residents.

Mr. Julius Mahitiko Kule who said they were financially handicapped to rent any individual rooms outside the camp asked government to urgently look into a possibility of securing excavators that could desilt the Nyamwamba river valley to guarantee their safety especially during the wet season.
