    Some people are putting on masks for fear of the law.

    Various stakeholders have given different views about the use of mask with some speakers describing it as horrible for those who put them on for fear of the law that its purpose.

    Mr. Samuel Okinewo, not original name but a police officer who did not want to be identified because he is not allowed to speak to the Press wondered why the local community members only attached putting on masks to the security and focusing on the reason they must be on.

    He recalls that on several occasions, people tremble picking their masks from pecked when they see security officers, an act he said may not help the situation.

    Hon. Lukasi Buhaka agreed with the officer, saying that there is a section of people who put on masks in fear of arrest though some serious people have known the use in case they are in public. Hon. Lukasi speaking….

    The Kasese district Deputy Speaker, Hon. Elly Magwara described the mast situation as bitter reality that the community must face for the good of the country. Hon. Magwara speaking………

    The South Rwenzori diocesan Coordinator for Evangelists, Mr. Enos Kandole Kibaba who said that some people have put on masks just because they fear to be blocked from their business asked the community to welcome and internalize the directive he said is intended only to safeguard lives.

    The Chairperson LC one for Basecamp Mr. Jafali Kigutiha called for more sensitization of the masses about masks he said were introduced for people` safety. He also proposed an update on how far the Presidential pledge on masks had gone for the local population to put on tested recommended masks. Mr. Jafali speaking……
