Some NRM Supporters in Bukonzo West are concerned about an alleged secret NRM registration exercise of members going on before the official date is announced.

Speaking to Kasese guide radio shortly after attending Mini-donors` conference at Bikunya Church of Uganda, the Bikunya parish Youth Leader in Karambi sub county, Mr. Nason Mukumbwa expressed his fear over the reported registration of NRM supporters ahead of time, calling for thorough explanation by their district party executive before the exercise bring more suspicions.

One of the youth in Katero cell in Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district, Mr. Jeremose Muhindo added his weight to that of Mr. Mukumbwa by saying that the registration book allegedly at some home in Karambi subcounty had caused mixed feelings with some NRM party members wondering why the exercise was not in its designated area and open to all.

Mr. Capson Sasusi, another NRM contender for Bukonzo West MP seat said that he is hopeful for transparent party primary elections but that he was monitoring the existence of the alleged party registration going on before his next step of action.

Earlier while addressing Christians of Bikunya Anglican church of Uganda, Mr. Capson described as hypocrisy for anyone to stand in Church and pronounce himself as a ruling government opposser, before luring the electorates on opposition to give him a benefit of doubt and also support the government in power.

About the alleged illegal registration of NRM members, the Kasese district acting NRM Chairperson, Mr. Johnson Kamalha who said that every family head has tactics he employs to manage his family cleared what was going on, adding that his office was open to explain the motive but not in the media as other people suggest.

Over one million shillings was collected at donors` conference aimed at raising funds to kick start Motorcycle Project as another alternative source for the Church.
