    Some NRM Members menaced to boycott 2021 elections.

    Some NRM Members talked to in Bukonzo East County have threatened to boycott the general elections should their party leadership in Kasese district fail to reign over independent candidates they blame for denying them victory.

    NRM carders said for the past two terms of elections the opposition has always defeated them due to some individuals from their party who go independent and ending up dividing the party.

    In a min meeting convened by Dr. Julius Monday Rude, an NRM parliamentary contestant for Bukonzo East Constituency, Mrs. Kamagu Ithungu a resident of Kamughobe and Mr. David Kyanganzi of Kajwenge village were applauded by their gatherings for having been open against lose language among party members and independent candidature by contestants who fail party primary elections.

    The two members who got majority cheers later tasked Dr. Rude to deliver their grievances to the Kasese NRM leadership against independent candidates they blame for having no party spirit, and work to satisfy their individual interests.

    Dr. Julius Rude who said that he has no plans for independent candidature should he fail in the NRM party primaries however called for the people`s mandate that will enable him lobby more youth livelihood funds and champion a youth kills center to benefit the constituency. Dr. Rude speaks1…….

    He later warned his electorates against promoting bribery which he described as the enemy of Bukonzo East that will in turn fail on a number of developments by leaders who want to replace what they spent during political campaigns.

    The coordinator for Team Rude, Mr. Fred Rujumba had earlier called for unity among members of the NRM in Bukonzo East County as they were to come out victoriously. END
