Local residents in Ibanda-Kyanya Town County, Busongora North constituency in Kasese District have appealed to government to improve road network, electricity supply and schools for their sustainable development.
Mr. Modest Kanekerya, the area local council three Chairperson who narrated that poor roads have not only led to some accidents and slowing development but also increment in domestic violence and children school dropout due to poverty at household levels asked government to come to their rescue.
He made the remarks this morning at Kengele stream in Kyanya lower cell, while receiving eight pieces of culverts from Mr. John Monday Wakighoma the aspirant MP for Busongora North constituency.
Mr. Modest appreciated Mr. Monday Wakighoma for the timely donation he pledged to ensure they are put to good use. Mr. Modest speaking….
Mr. John Monday Wakighoma the area aspirant MP who explained roads in the constituency to be in a sorry state, later appealed to the government to expedite the renovation processes before it worsens.
He also called for peace, unity and love for one another if they were to fight poverty, corruption and discrimination that may derail development.

Earlier, Mr. Johnson Sabuni, the local council one chairperson for Kyanya lower cell appreciated Mr. Wakighoma for the donation and later asked him to continue supporting the locals as they also help themselves to solve community issues affecting their wellbeing. END
