At Kasese secondary school 229 candidates who sat for the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education-UCE under the new curriculum have passed their examination, according to Mr. Joseph Nzukwa, the school head teacher.
Nzukwa said with the new curriculum grading having disturbed many people to interpret, Result one means the candidates sat all exams and project therefore qualify for an award of UNEB certificate, Result two candidates are awarded certificate but with missing exams.

Initial results indicate that students in the following secondary schools among others in Kasese district passed in Result one, 103 Karambi SS, Bwera SS 267, St. Kizitu Voc.Kituti 114, St. Charles Vocational SS 124, Kitholhu SS 29, St. Raphael Nyamighere 14, Rwenzori Christian Voc Sec School 100, Morning star Voc ss Kinyamaseke 106, according to Moses Mbokania, the school Head teacher.
Others are, St. Johns the Evangelist Minor seminary with 46 in Result one, the Rector, Rev.Fr. Francis Kojo has confirmed.Fr. Kojo speaking….
