Residents in Kasese Municipality were treated to shock last evening after a suspected thief travelled from Mitoma district to Kasese delivering a smart phone he allegedly stole from a Congolese National last month.
Rwenzori East Region Police Spokesperson SP.Luke Mbusa confirmed the information without divulging details.
However, Ms. Harriet Masika not her original name and resident of Kisanga A cell in Kasese Municipality identified the owner of the smart phone as Mathias who reportedly bought it on 04.oct as a gift of appreciation for the homecoming of Rwenzururu King, His Majesty Charles Wisley Mumbere Iremangoma. It’s alleged that suspected thief had spent two weeks without speaking and in pain before he revealed to his family to allow him refund the smart phone he reportedly stole from Kasese district.
