Kasese Chief Magistrate’s court has again today denied bail to the Director Skyz bar and Lounge in Kasese Municipality Mr. Chance Bernard but further remanded him to Mubuku Government Prison until 26, March, 2024 for hearing.
Court presided over by her worship Ajok Betty heard that on 31st, January, 2024 while at Kasese central police station, Mr. Chance Bernard attempted to knock Ms. Glades Ainebyona Nandejje using his car.
Same court also heard that while at Skyz Bar and lounge in 2023, the accused person reportedly destroyed properties and smoked meat for a roadside vendor near his premises, Mr. Amudan Mugerwa.
Delivering her Ruling on the Bail application that was submitted on 26th February, 2024 by the legal team led by Counsel Mishele Geoffrey from Bagenda and Co. advocates who also presented four sureties, Her Worship Ajok denied him Bail on grounds that investigations are not complete.
