The Kasese Resident District Commissioner, Lt. Joe Walunsimbi has urged health workers who are not able to effectively deliver healthcare services to seek early retirement before they are forcefully sacked from civil service.

The review meeting targeting health in-charges of Health Centre IIs, IIIs, IVs, hospitals and development partners of the district was aimed at looking at HIV/AIDs access and positivity rates, family planning utilization, malarial prevalence and latrine coverage among others.
Lt. Walunsimbi told the participants that his office was awash with information that some health workers absent themselves from duty, arguing that they were posted to the health facilities located in the hard to reach areas while others attend to their personal businesses.
