Security may have to tighten further against robberies in Kasese Municipality, the latest being that where a mobile money operator in Kihalimu-Katadoba cell was last evening robbed of yet to be established sums of money.
No official comment yet from police but the local council three chairperson for Central Division in Kasese Municipality confirmed that monies belonging to a mobile money agency operator was stolen after the suspects fired bullets to scare away the victim but also those intending to engage them.
Mr. Safari who called for collaborated efforts against the act suspected that the gun used could be military hardware that was stolen from a UWA ranger post in Kanyangeya more than a month ago.

The panicking Victim, Ms Harriet Kikama it all happened when out of the blue, she heard what one would call warning gun shot at the nearest dark spot as she closed her shop, before armed men emerged with one coordinated request for the money she had in the bag.
Having picked all that she had at the time, the seemingly shocked Harriet told our reporter that the suspects fired more shots before vanishing in the dark. Ms Harriet speaking…….
