Mr. Francis Nyakahuma, a 40-year-old security guard at Nyakasanga Market in Kasese Municipality, is currently in police custody on allegations of breaking into a shop during the night within his area of deployment.

According to Hon. Lucky, Nyakahuma was rescued by security personnel from a group of angry residents who attempted to lynch him after ongoing complaints of missing merchandise from several shops in the market.
Ms. Linda Asiimwe, the Chairperson of Nyakasanga Market, described the incident as heartbreaking, saying it was shocking that a night guard who receives a monthly salary could be behind the thefts.
