Boda-boda riders in Muhokya Sub County, Kasese district have tasked political leaders to find means of securing boda-boda loans to ease transport means in the hard to reach area.
The need was expressed yesterday by boda-bodas of Busara, Kyamiza and Nyamirami trading Centre during a campaign rally of Sarah Ithungu Baleke an aspiring candidate vying for the woman parliamentary seat that was held at different trading centers in Muhokya Sub County of Kasese district.
Mr. Basemera Thembo, a boda-boda rider who revealed that in the entire village of Busara there’s only two motorcycles against many people who transact daily businesses alongside other health emergencies that require transport means proposed that leaders should find means of securing boda-boda loans to increase employment and ease transport means in rural area. Another youth in the area one Mr. Bakwanda Mbusa who said that most of the youths are unemployed and have resorted to keeping in bars to pass time noted that securing loan scheme would help them a lot.
In her response, Sarah Ithungu Baleke said that she would sort out their challenge if elected for the woman parliamentary position before she revealed how challenging it is for two to three youths to ride one motorcycle at different intervals. Sarah responding to them …..
