Over thirty-three Primary schools out of sixty-five in Kasese Municipality have managed to register grade one and above in this year’s mock examinations.
The worst schools have been reported in Bulembia division and Nyamwamba east zones, registering 382 failures.
Releasing Kasese Municipality Primary schools Mock results at Kasese primary school yesterday, the Secretary for Kasese Municipal Education of 2,744 pupils sat for this year’s mock examinations in Kasese Municipality.
The best performed subject was English, followed with Mathematics, social studies and Science being the worst, registering a decrease compared to last year.
Mr. Sibaminya, identified the best primary schools as, Trusted Care, Excel, Nadir preparatory, In the Grandma mother’s Arms, Royal Modern and Christian Foundation among private schools and Kamaiba Primary school and St. Immaculate primary school in Government aided schools.

He also asked teachers to love their work rather than focusing on money.
