Hon. John Siriwayo, the Kasese Municipal Secretary for Works and Technical services says his current operation would cover schools built out of plan.
He also said he was to work with his counterpart in the Social Services sector against un approved risky and temporary structures turning into class rooms at the safety of the learners.
Speaking to this radio during his visit to Green Belt Nursery and primary school whose classrooms were badly affected by bad weather in Kidodo cell in Kasese municipality yesterday, Hon. Siriwayo also asked school heads to be conscious about the weather conditions before allowing learners to leave school. Hon. Siriwayo speaking……….
Mr. Wesley Kithulha, the school deputy head teacher confirmed that other than the roof of their classrooms being blown off, five pupils had had some minor injuries under the risky situation he however said was taken control of by the will of God. Mr. Wisely speaking………
He also asked parents and guardians to back their children with attires that keep their children safe during bad weather. END
