SP Luke Mbusa, the Police Community Liaisons officer for Rwenzori East Region, has said they were putting modalities to impound school vans in poor mechanical conditions for the safety of the learners AS this busier third term begins.
SP Mbusa who asked schools to prioritize the safety of their learners on the road, was concerned that other than overloading school vans, other vans hardly open and lock doors, thus, putting lives at risk.
He said surveillance was on by police to identify particular school vans in poor mechanical conditions that are driven early morning so as not to be identified. SP Mbusa speaking 1……
