A section of the local community members in greater Kyalhumba has expressed worry over the increasing number of school dropouts in the areas.
Many educationists as well, call for close collaboration that would translate to breeding passionate learners aiming at prioritizing education.
Mr. Samuel Mweryabisandu, the head teacher for Kitabona primary school and Mr. Joseph Mukili, the school management committee chairperson, told a parents’ meeting held at the school on Wednesday that there is an increasing number of school dropouts, resulting from children who seem forced into being in school.

Mr. Jockus Cadre, the main Speaker at the meeting and Managing Director for Hope of Young Mothers Development Initiative, said the numbers of school dropouts were worrying thus, calling for thorough audit into children who begin primary one but do not complete primary seven. Mr. Cadre speaking……
Mr. Festo Muke Mumbahya, the education chairperson for Kyalhumba parish, asked parents and guardians to consider prioritizing the promotion of morals to boost education among their children.
