Save the children international has today handed over ten VIP toilets, ten rain harvest water tanks and community access roads, worthy eighty Million shillings with a call to communities own and put them to good use.
Presiding over the official hand over at Kyalhumba primary Health center 3, the Kasese RDC, Lt Joe Walusimbi who appreciated government pattern ship with Save the children asked the beneficiaries to out the facilities to good use if the donation was to last.

At Bwitho Primary school in Kyalhumba subcounty, the Kasese district chief administrative officer, Mr. Amis Masereka called for the recommended education environment by the teachers now that Save the children had provided for a VIP pit latrine that would improve health and sanitation at the school. The save the Children regional Manager, Mr. Samuel Mukirania said that their donation from different partners was partly an intervention to Kasese flood victims as a response to the wellbeing of the school going children and the community. Mr. Samuel Mukirania speaking…….
Mrs. Margret Mbambu and Mrs. Oliver Biira like other local residents hailed Save the children for the effort of improving sanitation at the education and health facilities that were mainly affected by floods.
