The local leadership of Saluti B cell in Kasese Municipality calls for the invention of the Municipal leadership against deadly rainy waters they allege could have been fueled by the ongoing road construction works in the neighboring cells.
Ms Jeanette Mbambu, the area local council one chairperson says the situation was un desirable over rain waters that keep logging residential and commercial houses, the latest being the today`s incident.

Mzee Paul Bwambale 83, an area local resident says the situation today was the worst following heavy rains that started falling shortly after mid night, calling for the opening on the drainage systems by the Municipal authorities to save lives and property. Mzee Paulo speaking…..
Earlier this afternoon, the Kasese district chairperson, Mr. Eriphaz Muhindi who called for more consciousness by people crossing streams across the district, thanked God for the lives of the Katooke local residents despite the fact that the heavy rains at night destroyed property.

Meanwhile, Mr. Possiano Kwiratwiwe, the Parish communicator for Kakone told this radio that Mr. Ndobya Mukalho`s family of eight in Rwebihungu village in Kahikya subcounty in Kasese district survived last night after their house and that they shifted to in the neighborhood, collapsed. END
