The Rwenzururu Kingdom has called for calm among her subject, some of whom politicians over what they have perceived to be delayed monument installation of the Kingdom first King, the late Isaya Mukirania.
The response by the Kingdom follows concerns by Mr. Jafali Kigutiha, the local council one chair for basecamp lower cell and Hon. Jane Biira, Central Division female councilor represent Kidodo cell, both in Kasese Municipality like many kingdom subjects who were not happy that no leader at the recent Coronation anniversary celebrations talked about it.
They are also concerned that there seem to be no immediate plans to install the monument despite massive support to the project by the Rwenzururu Kingdom subjects. Mr. Kigutiha and Hon. Jane……
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio this afternoon, the Kingdom Minister for Information, Mobilization and Kingdom spokesperson, Hon. Geoffrey Kanyonyi, commended Hon. Florence Kabugho, the Kasese Woman Legislator for what he called a kingdom heritage that the Kingdom was closely associating with and planning for the official handover and installation that will be made public after thorough consultations and arrangements.
