Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, the Kasese District chairperson has announced plans of revamping Katwe salt factory in Katwe-Kabatoro town council, Kasese district.
He said Government has secured investors saying the procurement process is underway.
Addressing hundreds of Rwenzururu subjects during an official visit of the Rwenzururu King, His Majesty Charles Wisley Iremangoma in Kyarukara A cell in Katwe-Kabatoro town council yesterday, Mr. Muhindi was opportumistic that revamping the salt factory will neutralize unemployed youth and generate revenue for the district.
