The Rwenzururu Kingdom has disassociated herself from acts of subversion and the so called Yiira state establishment in the country.
The Kingdom spokesperson, Hon Yonah Maate was responding to reports about forteen people arrested in Bundibugyo district last week in Karambi Village, Burondo sub-county in possession with machetes, catapults and other items.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio this afternoon in Verina gardens Kasese town, Hon Yonah, who revealed that the suspects arrested had items bearing marks of Obusinga Bwa –Rwenzururu, said the kingdom was not aware of their planned motive.

Hon. Yonah reminded all Banya-Rwenzururu to take the message of peace and reconciliation that her Royal Highness Agnes Ithungu Asimawe recently delivered to her subjects.

He appealed to the people who might be in hiding or otherwise involved in acts of lawlessness to come out and surrender to government for rehabilitation and settlement.
Earlier, the Kingdom premier, Hon. Gad Bakwanamaha Mbayahi, asked the people to become patriotic.
