Hon. Robson Mupango, the Kasese Municipal Deputy Mayor has revealed plans to develop and turn Rwenzori Square in Kasese town into a local revenue source.
Under Kasese Municipal plans, Hon. Mupango said other than greening Rwenzori Square soon, excavating stones and making the place free from water logging, additional construction works will be done to make the place more attractive for private and public functions.

He said Rwenzori Square was centrally located for meetings and functions, and a potential local revenue source if invested in by Kasese Municipality.
Hon. Mupango had earlier said that Kasese Municipality being located in basin like valley, requires full attention of the local community by planting trees and seeking technical guidance for any development if the area was to be habitable. Mr. Mupango speaking3……..
