Rwenzori Fraternity Association-RWEFRA has donated food and nonfood relief items to flood victims encamped in Kyarumba sub-county and Kyarumba Town Council in Kasese district with a call on them to plant trees in order to prevent disaster occurrences, during rainy season.
Addressing the victims at Kabughabugha Church of Uganda yesterday, Ms Sylvia Agaba, the Chairperson for Rwenzori Fraternity Association who had paid a courtesy visit together with other members in the area emphasized that tree planting would help to eliminate the effects of climate change.
The Organization delivered two tons of cassava flour, 31 boxes of soap, and 10 sacks of clothes for men, women and children as well as shoes of all categories. Ms. Sylvia speaking…..
