    By Barbra Muhindo,

Dr. Joyfred Kayiri Kathembo, the in charge for Rukoki health centre four in Kasese Municipality says the renovation works on the facility maternity ward is on course.

In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio last evening, Dr. Kayiri who appreciated Rotary club of Kasese Snow Peaks, the entire local population and development partners for their contributions, said the renovation project had reached more than fifty percent after the roofing and Metal lath cement ceiling were complete.

He also said the contactor was currently filing up and plastering spots that were damaged by the fire that gutted the structure more than three years ago. Dr. Kayiri speaking 1…….

Dr. Kayiri however said the collections during the Rukoki maternity Ward Marathon in March this year could not cover painting, window glasses and electricity costs that may force his leadership to consult Good Samaritans and development partners for more financial interventions. As a medic, Dr. Kayiri reechoed his earlier message against self-medication which he said had made treated more tasking to the health service providers. END
