Kithulha Care initiative has donated over One million shillings towards the rehabilitation of a Maternity ward at Rukoki Health center IV in Kasese district.
In 2021, the maternity Ward at the government funded health facility got burnt, leaving the mothers and their children on the mercies of God.
Handing over the donation, Mr. Charles Nzaghale Mwanga, the chief executive officer for the initiative said they were touched by the overwhelming numbers of mothers attended to under tree sheds, a situation they said was un healthy and contravenes the right to privacy to patients.
Mr. Nzaghale who appreciated Rotary club Kasese for her exemplary interventions to the project, called for more support from well-wishers and Good Samaritans to have the maternity Ward rehabilitated for the good of the mothers and their children. Mr. Nzaghale speaking………
