The Chairperson for National Drug Authority, Dr. Medadi Bitekerizo has applauded the bishop of Diocese of Kasese Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale for his pertinent leadership in supporting the fixation of kilembe mines hospital after it was hit by the rescent floods in kasese district.
While addressing stakeholders at new hospital’s site at St. Michael Kindergarten and day care centre in Kasese town, Dr. Bitekerezo who doubles as the board Member for Joint Medical stores hailed the Bishop for living an exemplary life which he termed as “servant leadership” as well as puting the biblical teaching in practice in offering facilities to host Kilembe Mines Hospital that was hit badly by the floods.

The Bishop Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Kibira who hailed the team from the National drug Authority and the Ambassador of Uganda to China Dr. Chrispus kiyonga for the kind heart to the people of Kasese also reported that the Hospital is now operating very well.
The Bishop later asked for more support from government and well wishers to support the development of the health facity.

The Kilembe Mines Hospital Medical superintendent, Dr. Edward Wafula reported that since the facility reopened on 25th May 2020, over 1500 patients and over 239 surgeries have been conducted. Dr. Wafula speaking ……….
