The Regional Police Commander for Rwenzori East, SSP Odoch Denis, has vowed to ensure that the suspects behind the shooting and killing of the Local council two Chairperson for Kyogha Village in Bwera Sub-county, Kasese District, the late Gerald Bwambale, are brought to justice.
While addressing mourners on Thursday, SSP Odoch reaffirmed that the Police, together with other sister security agencies, are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Gerald’s death.
He assured the public that the suspects would soon be arrested and prosecuted.
Odoch revealed that Police have obtained valuable leads that could assist in identifying the suspects, who are believed to be illegally using firearms in Bwera to kill and rob residents of their property.
