Mr. Erifaz Muhindi Bukombi, the Kasese District Chairperson, has reaffirmed that sub-counties which reportedly missed out on the road fund allocation will be considered in the next quarter when the government releases additional funds.

According to Mr. Muhindi, the sub-counties set to benefit include Rukoki and Karusandara, among others, where community access roads will be opened.
Mr. Muhindi, who commended central government for its continued support towards road infrastructure development, noted that over 70 percent of community access roads in the district have already been worked on. He also called for a collaborative effort between civil servants and political leaders in the implementation of the road fund to avoid friction and ensure effective service delivery.
Mr. Muhindi, who is also a contender for the Local Council V seat for Kasese District in the 2026 general elections, launched his campaign coordination office on Monday in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Town Council. END
