Rev. Fr. Expedito Masereka, the Curate of Bukangara Parish in the Diocese of Kasese, has urged Christians to become ambassadors of peace by emulating the example of Jesus Christ.
Presiding over homily during the closing ceremony of a week-long crusade held at St. Paul’s Kitsutsu Roman Catholic Church yesterday, Fr. Expedito encouraged Christians to maintain peace in their homes.
He also cautioned married couples against engaging in gender-based violence, particularly conflicts arising from financial matters.

The chief guest, Mr. Cleous Bwambale a contender for Member of Parliament for Bukonzo County East echoed Fr. Expedito’s message.
He called on the faithful to live by Christ’s teachings and practice tolerance as a way of preventing domestic violence.
