The Parish priest for Kyabikere catholic parish Rev Fr. Emmanuel Kule has asked mourners to remain prepared all the time for eternity because death lives with them.

Presiding over the memorial mass for the four people of the same family who were swept away by floods in Kiraro Village in Kitholhu sub county, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel sympathized with bereaved family before reminding Christians that nobody knew the time and day but that believers in Christ needed to be prepared by cleaving to Christ who is the conqueror of death.

Speaking to Our reporter shortly after the memorial mass, the Kasese district councilor representing Kitholhu sub county, Hon. Yoanasani Kisole called for God`s intervention to the bereaved family now that only the bodies of the late Agness Masika and late Felestus Kabugho had been retrieved from River Lhubiriha valley as the search for Rorontina Masika and late Bwangirine Kabugho goes on.

    Hon. Kisole speaking………

Former Kasese district Chairperson and chairman of the newly formed National Alliance for National Transformation, Hon. Yokasi Bihande asked the flood affected people to consider four options that include among them, living by their current situation, taming it or finding as alternative areas for settlement. Hon. Bihande speaking1……

Hon. Bihande who is also former Bukonzo East Constituency MP had earlier called for historical review of some areas which he said may not be appropriate for settlement.

May the souls of the deceased rest in peace. END
