The Kasese Cathedral Parish Catholic Charismatic Renewal chaplain, Rev. Fr. Anyasio Mbusa has encouraged believers in Christ to conserve the environment by planting trees as they celebrate Pentecost Sunday.
According to the catholic liturgical calendar this Sunday, the church shall celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit the feast that occurs 50 days after Easter Sunday and Pentecost is also considered the birthday of the Church.
Speaking to our reporter in his office at Kasese Cathedral church this morning, Fr. Anyasio said preparation for the Pentecost celebrations started today with adoration and it will continue up to Sunday with healing Mass on Friday and Virgil Mass on Saturday.
Fr. Anyasio who is also the director Caritas-Kasese urged Christians to use this season to prepare, forgive and reconcile with one another and receive the gift of the holy spirit with Love, Joy and kindness.
