Mr. Ndahura Kashagama, a concerned citizen from Kasese District, has urged the government to expedite the resolution of land conflicts between pastoralists and cultivators.

Kashagama emphasized the importance of involving elders and cultural leaders from the affected communities to reach a lasting solution.
He noted that this approach would be more effective than leaving over two thousand people camped at the Kasese Resident District Commissioner’s office in Kasese Municipality.

Meanwhile, Rev. Ezra Yongeza Mukonzo of South Rwenzori Diocese has today donated 50 kilograms of Posho and 10 of Sugar to displaced people encamped at the RDC,s office.
